Plastic "Utility" Pipe Recycling

Plastic Pipe Required

Green Ant Plastic Recycling handle most plastic types and so we will consdier any pipe that you have available.

At the current time we are mostly interested in the recycling of utility pipe. This includes blue water pipe and yellow gas pipe. There are several grades of both pipes and they are usually manufactured from either High Density Polyethylene (PEHD) or Medium Density Polyethylene (PEMD).

The common specification of polymer used for plastic utility pipe is PE80 and PE100. Both of these grades are on interest to Green Ant Plastic Recycling.

UK Wide Collections

Using an extensive network of plastic recycling associates across the UK, we are able to offer UK wide collections of your unwanted gas and water pipe and a comprehensive set of recycling services including the shredding and granulation of your plastic pipes and compounding of the resultant plastic regrind.

We do not insisit on a minimum quantity of plastic pipe to be collected but due to the high cost of transportation will prefer to schedule collections to maximise the amount of plastic pipe we can collect on a single collection run.

Using water pipe recycling and gas pipe recycling facilities that are as close to the collection point as possible and by optimising the volume of plastic pipe collected on each vehicle is not only more environmentally friendly but means we can often collect smaller volumes of plastic pipe for recycling than other larger plastic recycling companies.
