Using an extensive network of plastic recycling associates across the UK, we are able to offer UK wide collections of your unwanted oil tanks and diesel tanks and a comprehensive set of recycling services including the shredding and granulation of your oil & diesel tanks and compounding of the resultant plastic regrind.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We offer a free collection service for full articulated lorry loads of oil and diesel tanks. We may be able to collect smaller numbers of oil or diesel tanks but this would be a chargeable service to cover collection costs. We suggest that you contact your local tank replacement service to see if they will take your tank away.

Green Ant are committed to the environment and by using our network of plastic recycling associates rather than one central plastic recycling facility, we can minimise the environmental impact and carbon footprint of transporting and recycling your end of life oil and disel tanks.

Using oil tank recycling facilities that are as close to the collection point as possible and by optimising the volume of plastics collected on each vehicle is not only more environmentally friendly but means we can often collect smaller volumes of plastic oil and diesel tanks than other larger plastic recycling companies.

Collection Requirements

We will collect your unwanted plastic oil & diesel tanks no matter what the size.

For health & safety reasons we request that the tanks are drained of residual oil and diesel and for logistical reasons we request that some of your tanks have the tops cut off and the other tanks are cut up and put inside the open tanks. The reason for this is that the tanks do not stack safely on a lorry and doing so enables us to maximise the load weight to ensure a free collection service from all over the UK.
